Nigel popped over for a couple of games of WaT! Tonight. We’ve played a few times and last time my Panzer 3 achieved its fifth kill so this week I was permitted to bring a more powerful tank if I wished. I decided to field a STuG 3g alongside my Panzer 4. Nigel had a T34 1940 and a T34 1943.
In the first game the P4 and the 1943 had a long range duel. Nigel managed to knock a couple of command dice off to temporary damage. I was going to run away but the dice gave me the chance to return fire and I knocked out the 1943!
Later in the game the P4 took out the 1940 too. So 2 kill rings to the Panzer 4.
Game 2 followed a similar pattern but this time the STuG 3 did the business. Great fun and Nigel is a good opponent. Soon the dice will go his way and I could be back to square one.
