The Umarex Legends P08 Luger replica pistol is a CO2 powered ball bearing (bb) gun. It is the air gun that revived a life long passion for back garden plinking.
For those of you who don’t know, plinking is shooting tin cans in your yard or garden with an air gun and is called plinking because of the noise it makes.
There are several online reviews of this air pistol. Mine is the non blowback version. One thing all reviews agree on it that the trigger is heavy. One reviewer measured it at around a massive 10 pounds of pressure to fire it, well over double what is normal for this sort of replica. This does affect accuracy as you have to really squeeze.
However these replica air pistols are about collecting and fun. I bought it because it reminded me of the war films and comics I enjoyed as a boy and I can’t help but say “achtung” every time I get ready to fire it. That it has a grouping the size of a saucer is no matter, it is fun!
